Many of you will know that for the last two years I've been chair of the conference organising committee for the main
UCISA Conference. Well, the second full conference I've organised is finally here. We arrived in Manchester today to find Manchester Central a hive of activity as the exhibition was being built, boxes unpacked, screens wheeled into position.

So, all I have to do know is keep my fingers crossed that all the speakers turn up, the food is good, and there are no major disasters. So many people work hard to make the conference a success, I'm sure it will be great!
