I think if I had the option I'd definitely go for the MacBook Air, it's fantastic - but the ipad is so much more portable than a standard laptop, even those super-small ones. I was sceptical of tablets in the beginning I must admint, but am definitely a convert. It's brilliant for showing pictures to people as well - I took it to the US for our annual US alumni event and it was great for showing alumni high-quality pics of the University.Ruth Stanleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4631200414899554974.post-6481534889246107022011-11-09T11:39:30.683+00:002011-11-09T11:39:30.683+00:00Do you mean the browser, I personally haven't ...Do you mean the browser, I personally haven't had any problems with it, or flash? So light and portable but with a fully functioning web browser.

If Apple sort out their iPad web browser they'll be invincible. If Android or even Microsoft beat them too it Apple may lose the market...Bob Boothnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4631200414899554974.post-60263234774610422062011-11-09T11:32:43.039+00:002011-11-09T11:32:43.039+00:00"I don't use an iPad because it's coo..."I don't use an iPad because it's cool" -> "I don't use an iPad just because it's cool" surely? ;-)

Will the mix of home v.s. work use change if the apps stores become compromised? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-15635408

At the moment the apps are relatively trusted so its not such an issue to try out games etc.George Credlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08279658423028394711noreply@blogger.com
